Speaker 1:

Well, hello and good morning, Happy Wednesday. Sitting in the gent's car in the Starbucks line waiting to pick up a Starbucks. My car has a dead battery apparently, so the gent has to bring take me to work. Hello, good morning. What a lovely morning it is. Oh, he's got the heat on too. Okay, well, it's 54 degrees out. I'm burning up over here. There's no clouds in the sky and I'm wearing shorts. I'm taking you to work. Okay, you can roll your wings. Okay, well, we picked up the Starbucks and we are on our way to work. Unfortunately, esteban was not working today, so the gent did not get to see or meet Esteban.

Speaker 1:

Okay, we have three stories today to bring to you. We have one about Garth Brooks, one about Elon Musk and aliens and one tragic story, but kind of turned inspirational, about a guy on his very first day of a job got his legs chopped up in a wood chopper. Okay, here we go. Let's go over to page six from the New York Post Garth Brooks. I'm sure you guys have heard about Garth Brooks being sued or is that the right terminology by a former employee saying that he raped her and all this stuff. Well, he is fighting back. Garth Brooks has named his sexual assault accuser and sued her for compensatory and punitive damages after alleging she tried to extort millions from him. Page six can confirm the country singer 62 filed the complaint on Tuesday with the district court for Southern district of Mississippi, northern division. Okay, blah, blah, blah, you don't care about all that. Um, I think I talked about it briefly a couple episodes ago about this lawsuit and anyway I'm good for him. He's fighting back. Good, I mean, because if this happened years and years ago, why didn't she report it then? I'm sick and tired of these ladies waiting for years later to come out and do this. You know you have to start questioning their motives, I think. But that's just me. Uh, so he has also named her. It doesn't name the, her name is not in this article, but uh, it's out there somewhere publicly. If you would probably go look it up you could probably find it. Uh, so I remember Garth Brooks back in the late eighties, early nineties, cause I was on a big country. I was on a big country kick, you know, patti Loveless, lori Morgan, uh, the Judds Randy Travis, george Strait, that kind of they were big back then. I don't know what Garth Brooks has been doing lately. He really probably doesn't have to do a whole lot. He's rich already beyond belief from his past. Okay, moving on, we're going to talk about.

Speaker 1:

Elon Musk reveals his thoughts on what he believes is behind the UFO sightings in the US, again for the New York Post. He thinks it's just government research on new technology. Spacex CEO Elon Musk believes that the alleged UFOs seen zipping around the United States are not extraterrestrial life but are more likely the US government's new weapons programs that are highly classified. Musk, 53 years old, revealed that he has not seen any evidence of aliens while in charge of his space exploration technologies company during an interview with tucker carlson on monday. So tucker carlson has this new network, tcn tucker carlson network. You have to pay a subscription for it, but from snippets and articles that I've seen, it looks like he has done some incredible interviews with some people. I don't know that I want to pay for it, but you you know whatever the billionaire said. There are over 6,000 satellites in orbit and yet have not once had to maneuver around an alien spacecraft. Elon Musk says there's no aliens out there, or none right now anyway. What do you think? What are your thoughts on that? The article goes, goes on. I suggest you go read it.

Speaker 1:

The last story we have for you again for the new york post. This is incredible miracle colorado worker loses both legs in wood chipper freak accident on his first day at the job. Now there's a little bit more to the story. Kind of sort of A Colorado tree worker miraculously survived a freak accident with a wood chipper that left him losing both legs minutes into his first day on the job. John O'Neill, 33 years old, fitted with a court-ordered ankle monitor okay was throwing tree branches into the machine when one caught the tracking device and dragged him into the chipper. According to the Denver Post, apparently this guy had some problems with drugs. It was an addiction and all this stuff Probably got into some trouble. I'm sure the article will tell us later more about that, but he was wearing an ankle monitor, but at least he was out there working. I don't know if he was working to get paid or if he was, I don't know. It was his first day on the job and it was only minutes into it.

Speaker 1:

Let's read on o'neill, who had battled addiction and is now sober and excited about his new job, had both legs amputated above his knee following the life-altering accident at 10.18 am on September 24th. It's beyond a miracle that John is still with us and he's fighting harder than ever. O'neal's friend George said in the GoFundMe page Our friend has always been pretty reckless and living life on the edge, all while doing so being a warrior in life. The end of the branch caught onto anil's ankle monitor and dragged his leg into the spinning blades where it began cutting into his toes, foot, ankle and legs. He says he did not feel any pain but he was very cognizant of what was happening and he pretty much decided that his life was going to end. He said the pain was very. It was not there almost. He recalled I didn't really feel the pain as much as I knew I was in trouble. It went from a fight for limb to a fight for my life very fast. I suspect it did. He wants to. He's looking, he looking he's.

Speaker 1:

You know doctors amputated the remainder of O'Neill's mangled legs and needed to give him 15 pints of blood. They said he died in the ambulance but you know they obviously revived him. He is looking forward, uh, to helping others doing crossfit with adaptive athletes. So with the non-profit, o'neill looks to continue his volunteer work where he will lead rock climbing and crossfit events with the help of adaptive specialists. So there you go. He's, uh, seems to be in good spirits, a good outlook on life, but I cannot even imagine what that must have been like. All right, I have a question of the day when is the last time you had car trouble and what was it? That's the question of the day. All right, hopefully we'll get this fixed soon with the car battery. Hopefully it's just the battery, but the thing is the car's in the garage, so I'm going to have push it out. You're gonna wait for me to get home. Okay, anyway, gotta go. Thank y'all for listening. Bye, go, dawgs.
