Speaker 1:

Hello, good morning, happy Monday. Wow what. We're halfway through November already and Thanksgiving is fast approaching. We need to get on with the stories. We have three for you. I got a little bit about Disney cartoon being canceled because of its wokeness. We have a big story about Pete Hegseth. I say big story, it's a long story, I suppose. And then we also have are you dating a red pill guy? This is ridiculous. Can't wait to read that one for you.

Speaker 1:

Weeks on December 8th will be five years, will mark my five years with this podcast, and I just think it's time to end it. Come to an end of the Carol Remarks podcast Now. I'll keep it archived, if that's not to say that I might, you know, change my mind later and maybe do a once a week or something, I don't know. But I will be busy with a new podcast which I'm very excited about and I can't wait to tell you all about it. So stay tuned because, even though this podcast ends on December 8th, I will upload teasers for the new podcast here on this one. So just stay tuned. You're going learn all about it. It's gonna be fun, I hope, I hope, I hope it'll be fun for me. I have enjoyed researching and reading and learning a lot and putting this together so far. Okay, let's get to the stories over here.

Speaker 1:

Are you dating a red pill guy? Now, I know the men who are listening don't really care for this, but maybe you can pass this on to some other, to your youngins or something. I don't know. It's kind of funny. It's not really. I don't take this seriously at all. I think it's somebody that needed a topic for the New York Post and this is what they came up with. Dating can be a tough pill to swallow. You can tell this is from the New York post with their opening lines. A new study published in the journal personal relationships has uncovered some of the deceptive tactics tactics red pill subscribed subscribers used to manipulate women, many of which align with the dark triad personal personality type research suggested. So you know, you got your trad wives. This is the men behind that.

Speaker 1:

I suppose, in the face of the women's protests for bodily autonomy and equal opportunity across genders, disaffected men are gathering in anonymous internet forums to reveal anti-feminist rhetoric. Are they? I don't think they are. I could be wrong. I don't think it's this type of man. I think maybe a different type of man, but not this one. There emerged the red pill community, encompassing a global network of men who collect across various social media platforms to trade secrets of male chauvinism, including how to tame women in marital submission. Wow, this really sounds nefarious, doesn't it? The way they portray this? I think it's a bunch of BS. I don't think it's true at all.

Speaker 1:

The term red pill refers to a visual metaphor depicted in the 1999 sci-fi thriller the Matrix. Yeah, we know that. On social media, however, to take the red pill has come to refer to men who have come to believe that traditional gender roles are being threatened by feminist values that dominate the mainstream. Okay, I can tell you right now that these men that they speak of are not threatened by anything. So ease off there. Trust me, they are not threatened by the feminist movement at all Because they're men. Okay, speaking to the ex-partners of Red Pill Men, the new research revealed a significant overlap between their deceptive tactics and dark triad traits Narcissism and psychopathy.

Speaker 1:

Psychopathy, I don't know, alright. So love bombing is one of them, prioritizing sex is one, coaxing is one of them, prioritizing sex is one, coaxing is one. And vanity these are the traits. In case you wanted to know, you can go read more about that if you want. It's on my X-File. I think it's a bunch of BS. That's my opinion of that. All right, we're going to save the Pete Hegseth for the last.

Speaker 1:

Let's talk about the Disney removes cartoon episode about transgender character. It breaks my heart again from the New York Post. Let's see how they start their sentence. And well, they're not being clever about it at all. An episode of the Disney animated show Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur already sounds stupid, focused on a transgender character, will no longer air. Thank God, News broke this week that the episode, which leaked on YouTube, has been pulled from the airing on Disney Channel in 2025 because of its LGBTQ storyline.

Speaker 1:

According to Polygon, the episode titled the Gatekeeper is about the transgender character Brooklyn, who is voiced by Posy Star, posse Star, posy Star, india Moore. Brooklyn is competing on the girls' volleyball team and faces discrimination from the opposing team's coach, Greer. Well, how about that? Greer reportedly uses a magical key to lock Brooklyn and her teammates in the girls' locker room. Brooklyn breaks down to her teammates and tells them I'm trans. My very existence breaks Greer's rules. Brooklyn also wears pride themed knee pads and has a trans is beautiful sticker on her water bottle in the episode, according to polygon.

Speaker 1:

Oh my goodness, this is so dumb I'm not going to finish reading that. You can go that's. It's pretty long and entailed if you want to go finish reading that. But the gist of it is they're taking it off the air because of the election results. Well, good, good, it's called a mandate, yes, okay, moving on to this, pete hagseth I'm going to try to get to through. This is big. I well, I don't know that it's that big, but uh, it's going to be breaking probably all over the news. Pete Hague said we've known about him anyway. He's been married a couple of different times right, cheated on a spouse, left his spouse for somebody else, just like Jesse Waters did. All those men over there at Fox with their red pilling, okay, so let's go on and read. There is something to this, though that look, I don't. Okay, let's go, and then I'll talk about it.

Speaker 1:

As I read it, president-elect Donald Trump's pick for Secretary of Defense, pete Hegseth, says he was blackmailed during the Me Too movement and paid off an accuser to keep her silent. His attorney, timothy Parlatore, tells the Post Okay, already, right off the bat. When you read that first paragraph, I'm like uh-oh. Pete claims he was blackmailed, but yet he paid the accuser off. That doesn't sound good, but there's more to the story. Okay, here we go.

Speaker 1:

Hegseth, who worked as a Fox News host until Trump picked him for his cabinet, paid an undisclosed amount to a woman who accused him of sexual assault, which he maintains was consensual. His lawyer confirmed so the act sex was had. She's claiming it was rape. He's claiming it was consensual and yes, there's alcohol involved. Basically, he was totally innocent. He did nothing wrong. His lawyer said he went through a mediation and ultimately settled for far less than what she wanted, and that should have completely buried it. Last week, though, the Trump transition team received a memo from a friend of the accuser, who detailed the accusations against Trump's surprise pick to lead the Department of Defense. The Washington Post reported so the accuser didn't tell it was. A friend of the accuser leaked this.

Speaker 1:

The alleged incident took place on October 7, 2017, in Monterey, california, and involved an unidentified staffer at a conservative group who accused Hegseth, now 44, of raping her in his hotel room after a boozy night at the bar. She was in her 30s at the time. Hegseth had been staying at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa at the time after delivering an address at the California Federation of Republican Women Conference. So lots of women, lots of women there. He must have had a really good time. So his lawyer, who declined to divulge the amount paid or the identity of the woman, claimed that she was sober and pursued Hegseth. He had way too many drinks and, according to video surveillance and eyewitnesses testimony, this woman who was sober, took advantage of him and she was the aggressor, he said. She took him by the arm and she led him up to his room. But the memo of the incident sent to the transition team, which, which the Post has not independently obtained, alleged that she was responsible for ensuring that Hegseth made it back to his room and to the airport the next day, according to the Washington Post. So she supposedly was responsible for his activities. We'll see. She was staying in the hotel with her children and husband at the time. So here we go.

Speaker 1:

Here's how it's gonna start unraveling. The gist of the story is, since she was there with her husband and kids, she took pete back to his room apparently she was the aggressor, according to surveillance and other witnesses. And, uh, they had sex. It was consensual. She never made it back to her room, to her husband and kids. So, in order to get out of trouble, she said pete raped her. That is so wrong. Uh, the the accuser had a moment of hazy memory of being raped that night before. A hazy memory, a hazy memory of being raped. Come on, if she was sober. Now they're going to say that he drugged her or something. Uh, that's stupid. Look and had a panic attack. You know, she had a panic attack because she had to try to explain stuff to her husband. That's what it was.

Speaker 1:

A friend of the accuser said that she had seen her at events over the past 15 years but had never known her to be irresponsible, drunk or ever questionable character. The lawyer for pete alleged that the accuser was simply trying to save face with her husband. Exactly, she woke up to a whole bunch of texts from her husband saying why didn't you come back to our room? Afterward she had to come back and lie, he added, citing a police report that is not publicly available. Days after the encounter, the accuser later filed a complaint to the police, who investigated the situation and ultimately, the local district attorney declined to pursue charges. Wow, the local district attorney declined to pursue charges. Wow.

Speaker 1:

Two years later, in 2020, the accuser threatened to pursue hegseth in court, which resulted in his settlement payment to her in exchange for the woman signing a non-disclosure agreement. If she were to come out and start repeating these false claims, or if this in any way derails the confirmation, then, yeah, he will probably be following a pretty massive lawsuit against her for defamation and civil extortion. Wow, so you can go finish reading that. There's not much left to the story. What do y'all think about that? What do you think uh went down with that? I think it's exactly as I said. I think she got back there with Pete, got a little hot, had some sex, then realized, oh, she has to make up some story for her husband. I don't know. What do you think? Do you think Pete just overpowered her and took advantage of her? What do you think? I think it's what I said. I. Who knows? We weren't there, I don't know, but there was no charges pressed, there were no criminal charges. They they decided not to prove criminal charges. So what's up with that? That is the question.

Speaker 1:

All right, wait, speaking of questions, we need to come up with the question of the day what makes your? Well? Here's the question of the day. What makes your eyes roll every time you hear it? Mine would be anytime conservative news talk show host, whether it be pat gray or somebody you know from fox news talking about the view y'all. If we could just stop talking about them, they would go away. That's what makes my eyes roll. Okay, gotta go. Thanks for listening. Bye.
