SPEAKER_00:

Hello, good morning. It is Tuesday and it is raining here in Alabama. Gonna rain all freaking day long. Yuck. Alright, I have a hodgepodge of topics to talk about today. Um, let's start with all right. I don't know if I want to do this or not. You know, every year they from the Concept 2 rowing app that I use for when I row, they have daily workouts. And they've done a holiday, they have they have monthly challenges, by the way. But their big one is December, their holiday challenge. Actually, it goes it goes from Thanksgiving Day until December 24th, Christmas Eve. And you can pick one or two options. You can do the 100 meters, I mean not 100 meters, 100,000 meters, or 200,000 meters, and they will give money to the charity of your well, they give you four choices to choose from. They provide three to four different charities every year. So you can choose one that you want to row for. And I'm looking at them all, and of course, I picked Valor Fit. Go look them up, valorfit.org. I put it out there on my X-File. It's a guy who came back from Iraq and he became addicted to alcohol and drugs, but he overcame it, and then he wanted to start helping other veterans who come back or come out of the come out of not just come back from war, but any of them that leave the military or whatever. I guess you could be active too. Um, if you having a hard time adapting back to civilian life or regular life here, and you get hooked up with drugs or whatever, he wants to help you find find because he's partnered, he has a CrossFit box. I know I'm trying having a hard time talking this morning. He has a CrossFit gym, and I've not seen this just with him, but I've seen it with other people too. The town that I grew up in, they have Dale what's his name? Dale Jackson? Dale Strong No, I'm getting the Dale Strong is our representative here. Dale is somebody from up in Portsmouth, Ohio. He has Second Second Street, CrossFit Gym, Kettlebell. I don't know. I forget the name of it, but he's doing the same thing. He was actually on Shark Tank. Alright, I'm getting way off topic here. Anyway, the point is that I don't know if I want to do it because it's a lot of rowing. And here's the thing: they only give like two cents or 0.02 for every thousand kilometers or meters or whatever. I and I've done it before, two years, I've done it two years in a row before. And it only comes to six bucks that they donate after all of that. Now, granted, maybe thousands of people do it because it is a very, it's a nation, it's a worldwide community, actually. Not just here in America, the the Concept 2 community is what I'm talking about. The Concept 2 app rower that I use. Um, it's a very large community. So maybe hopefully maybe thousands of people will do it so they can raise more money. But it's like I'm doing it for six bucks. It's like, I don't know, man. Is it worth it? I don't know. We need to move on. I'm still gonna think about it. I'm I'm probably gonna do it. Excuse me. Goodness, let me get a drink of water here. Holly. Alright, let's move on. Alright, so we have a little bit of an update, not much, of the football coach Travis Turner who um went missing. Well, his wife has spoken up. This is from a New York Post article, but she has since deleted the post. Why? Why delete it? The wife of a missing Virginia High School football coach, Travis Turner, urged people to keep praying. Her husband returns home after he mysteriously vanished last week in the middle of an undefeated season. So here's the deal. We talked about it yesterday. Uh police were called to his house about a complaint. Not to arrest him, but I guess somebody called and had a complaint, and so the police went over there. By the time the police got there, this guy bolted. He's gone. Nobody knows where he is. So now his uh wife, I guess, went on social media and says, We love him and need him here with us. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. It means more than you know. Just keep praying that he comes home, she said. Uh, let's see. There was another, let's see. Oh, she said, I just wanted to get on here for a second to clear up something. As of right now, 10 25 p.m. on Friday, Travis is missing, and that's all we know. Leslie Turner wrote in a since deleted Facebook post. Uh, is this the one that I wanted to know? No, maybe it's a different uh article. Anyway, there's your little update on that. Oh, so here we go. Officers were this is I think what I wanted to find out. Officers were reportedly dispatched to the 46-year-old home in Appalachia Thursday evening and investigate a complaint not. Okay, the details of the complaint the police were investigating were not disclosed. Here is where I would like some investigative journalism to happen. Now, granted, this is from the New York Post. They're probably writing from their little home in their little apartment in New York City. But you can still pick up a phone and try to call people and figure out what the hell is going on. But the thing is, why not? This is why news and since we don't have newspapers anymore with a staff to pay people to go out and do their jobs, we don't get the whole story anymore. We just get like drawn out, over bloat, overblown written pieces about headlines. There's no details. I want to know, get on the ground and start asking people questions. Please, I want to I want to know. Maybe this guy's not that important to do that on. I don't know. Moving on. How much longer can the Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson Sexed Up Saga Sink? Oh, here we go. I have not read this. I only read the headline and I thought I know I'm gonna talk about this. So forgive me if it's gonna be a piece of crap. Which it probably is because of the topic content. It's Thanksgiving week, and the name Bill Bilichik is sparking conversations, just not about football. Instead, we're talking about his 24-year-old girl, his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, and that's a sentence that remains wild to right. Bill Bilichick, a great proselytizer of the no distractions gospel, is seeing them multiply like a grand Thanksgiving bounty. Just how long will this absurd saga go? While the 73-year-old is limping to the end of a disastrous first season as head coach at the University of North Carolina, there are reports of an epic family blowout, and Hudson is publicly threatening to sue a podcaster and former ESPN reporter. Uh-oh. On his best day, Andy Cohen couldn't dream up anything more salacious. It's an embarrassing public pile-up for a notoriously private man who speaks in grunts and pauses. I like this writer. See, does it say does it tell me who it is? Uh published by nope, not I'll have to go to the original art, the actual app to find out, I'm sure. Over the weekend, the California Post Edward Lewis reported that Bilichek's daughter-in-law, Jen, allegedly uploaded on Hudson in a oh, unloaded on Hudson in a post-game rant on November 8th, calling her a bat shrazy control freak and accusing her of effing twisting Bill's brain. Honey, Bill is a grown ass 70-something year old man. He is making his own choices here. Okay? Sources said Jen, who is married to Bilichick's son, a defensive coordinator, Steve, lost it in front of her husband, father-in-law, and Hudson, and noted she didn't care if she was disowned for it. Oh good for her. This is the daughter-in-law though, not the son. Also on her platter of complaints, Hudson's fondness of wearing snakeskin clothing, which many have speculated is her home homage to Taylor Swift's revenge era. Yes, it's all message to her haters. What? Whatever, I don't care. On Sunday night, Hudson, a competitive cheerleader, logged onto Instagram to start a fight. She posted a photo of herself wearing a necklace that spelled out banned along with her all access credential for UNC's home field. The caption was directed at podcaster and journalist Pablo Torre. P.S. I'm suing you. Uh-oh. Torrey has been digging into Hudson and Belichick's uh unconventional relationship. Good for him. Do it. There's nothing wrong with that. Freedom, hello, we're in America, Miss Hudson. A family source told him there is a deeply there is deep worry of how detrimental Jordan can be for not just North Carolina, but Bill's legacy, reputation, everything he has built and worked for over decades. Hudson and Belichick invited such scrutiny when she interrupted CBS's Tony, what's his name, during what should have been a fluffy CBS Sunday morning interview with the coach to promote his book back in April. Blah blah blah. You remember that. Family and professional strife aside, Hudson, who prides herself on her business chops, seems most hung up on Tory's May episode where he reported after speaking with 11 sources, this is what I'm talking about. This is called investigative. Okay, that she was banned from UNC's teen facilities. The university immediately put out a statement to deny it. Hudson's done her own version of a denial, swaying on the sign line on game day. Despite her snakeskin wardrobe and sassy Instagram posts, Hudson looks like a wannabe girl boss who is well out of her depth, yes, threatening to suutore and isn't the power move she thinks it is. Thank you. If she follows through, she's inviting a whole new level of scrutiny and invasion that will not be kind to her or Billy. A lawsuit will simply open Pandora's box. Okay, blah blah blah blah. You can go finish reading that if you want. I mean, why would you though, right? This next one I'm not gonna get into. I put it out here on X. Um you've heard all of these accounts being exposed. I never followed any of them because I think they're all douchey anyway. Elon Musk's zeal for the truth reveals the online frauds aiming to divide us. Um it's probably it's uh but it's written by Glenn Reynolds, and I hope you go read it because Glenn Reynolds is very, very good. Back in the day, he has the insta, he has a blog called the Instapundent blog. And back in the day, when we bloggers were blogging before social media came around and everybody was trying to jockey for position and and make it big, he would read blogs and then post links to his blog, and if that happened, we call we would call it an installanch, which means when he did that, a lot of people would come to your site and read it, and he still does that every once in a while. I've been linked, he's picked up a couple of my articles when I wrote when I in the Victor Girls blog. So he still does it, and it's fantastic when that happens. Alright, so anyway, his this article is written by him for the New York Post, and it's about all this things that are happening. If you want to go check that out. About the I guess is about the accounts being exposed and whatnot. Alright, next one. I know this is I'm running along. I'm sorry, I'm over 10 minutes. This next one is this is the best time. We're I'm not gonna read it. Americans claim this is the best time to put up a Christmas tree, sparking debate. And we probably know what it is. Is it before Thanksgiving or after Thanksgiving? And that is the question of the day, kind of Thanksgiving related. Do you put your tree up before or after? We put it up after. I think one time I did put it up before because we were having everybody over and I wanted to have it decorated. I think I can't remember now, whatever. But we're going over to the daughter's house, and I know she already has her tree up because she posted it on Instagram, and it's fine, there's nothing wrong with that. I get it. Sometimes people want to put Thanksgiving and Christmas together. I get it. No worries, it's not controversial. Alright, I gotta go. Thanks for listening. Sorry I went over, and have a great Tuesday.
